Vision: “Transforming together into a vibrant strong and fervent community of believers in Christ Jesus”
Vision: “Transforming together into a vibrant strong and fervent community of believers in Christ Jesus”
Mission: “Galileans working towards a Christ-centered, grace focused and disciple-making community; living lives by His grace to the Glory of Christ Jesus”
Our Church believes in “preparing a holy people ready to meet God”. The Bible says: “Follow…holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14). At the same time, we are to be “zealous of good works” (Titus 2:12-14).
It is not how healthy or wealthy we are, not how high an education we have, or status we attain in the world, not how popular or well-qualified we become, that matters. It is how ready we are to meet God that really counts. The Bible says: “Prepare to meet thy God” (Amos 4:12).
We want our members to “grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18). We are called not only to be disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 4:19) but also to make disciples for our Lord (Matthew 28:19-21).
To that end, we encourage members to pray regularly and study God’s Word personally during Quiet Time, join a regular Bible class, attend Church Prayer Meeting, be regular at Sunday School and Worship Services, faithfully serve the Lord, and be ready witnesses for Him.
Obedience to the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion are primary Word (John 8:31), loving one another in the Lord (John 13:34,35) and fruit-bearing (John 15:8) are other God-appointed marks of Discipleship.
